Well as you can see from the distance of time between posts, I have not caught on to the blogging thing. I just forget to go post. In the last year and a half life has just been nuts. I have knitted several projects but always forget to take pictures before I give them away. Currently I have many projects in progress but I have broken my wrist and my cast prevents me from holding a knitting needle. I'm going to try tatting and see if I can hold the shuttle without causing my wrist to hurt to much. It is driving me cray not being able to do anything with my hands. Just typing this small entry into this blog has caused my wrist to begin hurting. I promise to get better at this blogging thing. Going to go for now.

I have recently joined chat groups related to my stitching interest after being encouraged by several stitchers. I live in Central Texas. There are no stitching groups, stores or anything closely related withing 3 hours of where I live (in any direction). I was desperate for contact with people who have the same interests. I have joined several chat groups & I am learning much.

I saw that many had their own blogs. I have wanted to try this for a while, so this gave me an excuse. I don't have any pictures, etc to post currently but that will change soon.

I probably have just as many UFO's as all of the rest of you. I am trying to remedy that situation. I am currently working on the LARGE cross-stitch nativity scene and not making much progress. I forget the name. I am at work and don't have the information close. I am also working on a golf shadow box in cross-stitch for my boss for Christmas.

In addition to this, because of my chat group activity, I have become interesting in sock knitting, loom knitting, and knitting dishcloths. I have also taught myself to tat and am looking forward to increasing my knowledge and skills in this area.
